Paul Massey sent his first dog off for a gun dog program in 2012. After hunting that dog his first duck season he started forcing to a pile and eventually moving on to hand signals. From that point forward he was hooked on the art of dog training. He purchased another puppy shortly after and trained her all the way through from day one. He continued to train his personal dogs and friends dogs until he decided to open Third Coast  Retrievers in June of 2018.
